Ethnic-Albanian aid workers in Macedonia say they've been contacted by the family of a senior ethnic-Albanian official in Kosovo, to say he's been arrested by Serbian forces.
The official, Fehmi Agani, is close to the moderate political leader, Ibrahim Rugova.
He was said to have been trying to cross into Macedonia.
He had been earlier reported killed by Serbian forces in the first days of the bombing.
Mr Rugova is in Italy, having arrived on Wednesday with the apparent approval of President Slobodan Milosevic of Yugoslavia.
