French debate Kosovo

The French national assembly is debating events in Kosovo later today where the Communist party is again expected to voice its opposition to the NATO action.

Also in Paris, European Union foreign ministers are meeting representatives of two of the states hardest-hit by the Kosovo crisis -- the Albanian foreign minister Paskal Milo, and the Macedonian prime minister Ljubco Geogievski.

The United Nations secretary-general Kofi Annan is seeing German leaders today before flying to Moscow on Wednesday.
