Red Cross calls on Belgrade to grant access to US PoWs
The International Committee of the Red Cross says the Yugoslav authorities have prevented it from visiting three United States soldiers captured at the end of last month, although they were obliged to do so under the terms of the Geneva Convention.
The Red Cross said this was despite repeated oral and written requests.
It called on Belgrade to allow the Red Cross immediate access.
