Italy seizes weapons in Adriatic port
The Italian television network,RAI, has reported that police in the Adriatic port of Ancona have seized a large haul of arms hidden in two trucks that were taking humanitarian aid to Albania.
The police said they found bazookas, mortars, machine-guns and explosives, hidden in false bottoms in the trucks, which were from Bosnia-Hercegovina.
Three Bosnian drivers were arrested.
Police say they believe the weapons were on their way to the Kosovo Liberation Army.
