Fourth jurat nominee revealed

Nominations close next Monday
A fourth jurat nomination has been received by the Bailiffs office.

Barbara Jean Bartie has been proposed by Deputy Peter Bougourd and seconded by Deputy Bill Bell.

A jurat is a lay member of the Royal Court, who sits with the presiding Bailiff or deputy.

Nominations close at 1600 BST next Monday.

The other three nominees are Doctor Susan Mowbray, who was nominated by Deputy Peter Roffey and seconded by Deputy Brian Russell.

Heather Norman is the second nomination proposed by Deputy Michael Torode and seconded by Deputy Michael Burbridge.

The third nomination is Jennifer Mary Tasker, nominated by Deputy Martin Ozanne and seconded by Deputy Laurie Morgan.
