War games weapons stolen
Police in Guernsey are hunting thieves who stole firearms used for war games.

Grenades, thunder flashes, bullets, replica ball bearing guns and protective clothing were taken from a Battle Tec war games store at Rue de L'Arquet, next to La Hougette School, in St Peters.

Company onwer Phil Page, is concerned the weapons could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

He said: "My business has been ruined, we have lost thousands of pounds worth of kit.

"More importantly, this stuff is on the streets and we need to get it back.

"If they were detonated close to someone, they could lose a limb."
