A spokesman for the police in the southern city of Volgograd said V.
Saidilinov was with friends outside a garage when shots were fired from the roof.
The police were quoted as saying that they thought the attack was a contract killing.
Mr Saidilinov was reportedly in charge of selecting players for Dynamo Moscow and for leasing them out.
