A provincial governor in south-eastern Turkey has been injured in the second suicide bomb attack in the region this week.
The governor of Hakkari province, Nihat Canpolat, was visiting the town of Yuksekova when a man jumped in front of his car and set off explosives strapped to his body.
The car driver was killed, and one of the governor's bodyguards is reported to be in a critical condition.
On Monday, the governor of Bingol province, Suleyman Kamci, was attacked by a suicide bomber at his office.
Mr Kamci was not hurt, but a young girl was killed and twenty people were injured.
