The Romanian Prime Minister, Radu Vasile, has left hospital in Bucharest after recovering from a heart attack ten days ago.
Mr Vasile said he would return to work next week, after the Orthodox Easter holiday.
But he would meanwhile be keeping a close watch on a meeting tomorrow of political and trades union leaders to discuss government plans to reform the Romanian economy.
The plans include faster privatisation and restructuring Romania's banking sector. The Prime Minister has promised to follow medical advice to give up smoking, and reduce his work schedule.
