In pictures: Norway's royal wedding
Thousands gathered to watch the wedding of Norway's Princess Martha Louise to a controversial author, Ari Behn, in the ancient cathedral city of Trondheim.
Norway was captivated by the wedding, and there were loud cheers and applause as the Princess arrived to the cathedral
The wedding was broadcast live on TV, but thousands still came to Trondheim to watch the ceremony on giant screens
Bishop Finn Wagle - who officiated the ceremony - told Mr Behn he was being given the Norwegian people's princess
The newly weds celebrate, and public animosity to Mr Behn because of his wild partying past seems forgotten
Royalty from all over Europe and specially invited guests attended the wedding
Many little girls dressed up as princesses and waited for hours to see the real Princess walking past them
