Two explosions have rocked the Spanish capital in a suspected attack by Basque separatists.

A car bomb was detonated near the Bernabeu stadium - due to host the crucial European Champions League match between the home team, Real Madrid, and Spanish rivals Barcelona. A second "tiny" bomb exploded later two kilometres away.
