Attacks suspects arrested in Paris

French police have detained four more people suspected of involvement in planning attacks against American targets in the country.

The arrests were made in Paris early on Tuesday, and follow the detention of seven people on Friday.

The investigation into the case was opened after the arrest of a French-Algerian man in Dubai in July.

He is alleged to have told local intelligence services of plans to attack United States interests in France.

The American embassy in Paris is believed to have been one of the possible targets.
