Riot halts Bosnia mosque building
Breaking News
Rioting Serb nationalists have forced a ceremony to mark the rebuilding of a mosque in the Bosnian town of Banja Luka to be abandoned.

The crowd broke through police lines shortly after the ceremony was due to begin.

Running battles between demonstrators and police are continuing.

The crowds stoned Muslim refugees and dignitaries at close range, injuring several people.

On Saturday a similar ceremony was scrapped in the southern town of Trebinje.
