Genetic tests on the body of the French singer, Yves Montand, have shown that he was not the father of a young woman, Aurore Drossard, who claimed to be his child.
Miss Drossard had won a court order for the body of Mr Montand, who died seven years ago, to be exhumed so that D-N-A tests could be carried out.
Mr Montand had always denied being her father, but he had refused to undergo a blood test to settle the matter.
