Predrag Mijatovic
He began his domestic football with Montenegrin club Buducnost as a midfielder but after being pushed up front, scored 17 goals to help Partizan Belgrade to the Yugoslav championship in 1993. Mijatovic joined Valencia the following season during which his scoring touch went from strength-to-strength, and 28 goals in 40 games attracted Real Madrid to sign him in 1996. The Spanish giants were rewarded when Mijatovic claming the winning goal against Juventus in the 1997-98 Champions League final. After scoring 85 goals in 194 games in Spain, Fiorentina was his next stop. Mijatovic made his international debut against Finland in August 1989. He was top scorer in the qualifying campaign for France 98 and, having scored three times in the qualifying games for Euro 2000, will be raring to go this summer.
