Nisa Saveljic
The reliable and solid centre-back then moved to Bordeaux in 1997 and played a vital role in their 1998-99 French title-winning campaign. He made his international debut against Hong Kong in January 1995 but has struggled to establish himself in the first team, although recently it would appear his man-marking skills and distribution are finally being recognised. Saveljic played in three of the Euro 2000 qualifiers, being booked in the games against Malta and Macedonia, and his prospects of a regular place in the team this summer is still in the balance.
