Slobodan Komljenovic
He played with Hochst, Eintracht Frankfurt and MSV Duisburg before moving to Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga. Komljenovic, who stands at over 6ft tall, is formidable in the air and but comfortable on the ball and two-footed into the bargain. He made his international debut in the 2-0 loss to Brazil in December 1994, but has struggled to establish a regular place in the first team. Having hardly featured in the qualifiers for the 1998 World Cup Finals, he surprisingly started three matches in France and manage to score twice. With just two appearances in the qualifying matches for the Euro 2000, Komljenovic will be hoping for further action this summer and may just sneak into the squad as a replacement for the suspended Mirkovic.
