Yugoslavia suffer bore draw

South Korea 0-0 Yugoslavia

Yugoslavia failed again to score against the co-hosts of the next World Cup as they continued their uncertain build-up to Euro 2000.

After last Sunday's stalemate, Yugoslavia were looking for a more upbeat performance to lift morale.

But it was South Korea who had the best of the first half, with Seol Ki-hyeon and Choi Chul-woo both going close.

The visitors fought back in the second period, and only an excellent stop from Korean keeper Kim Yong-Dae prevented former Aston Villa striker Save Milosevic from opening the scoring.

But it was Korea who came the closest when Park Kang-jo hit the post in the final few minutes.

The teams drew 0-0 last Sunday as Korea look towards the Olympics later this year.
