Marseille linked with Andersson

Sweden striker Kennet Andersson has been linked with a move to Olympique Marseille.

Sources close to the French club's management said Marseille had made an approach for Andersson, who is currently on Euro 2000 duty, to link up with forward Florian Maurice.

Andersson, 33, who plays for Italian champions Lazio, has had spells at Lille and Caen in France, and with Bari and Bologna in Italy.

Marseille have also approached France and Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly and Bruno N'Gotty of AC Milan in their search to replace transfer-listed former Newcastle defender Franck Dumas.
