Larsson shows promise
Henrik Larsson
Larsson could be performing against the English again
Henrik Larsson is back in contention for a starting place in the Swedish team for the opening European Championship game against Belgium on Saturday.

Larsson was drafted into Sweden's squad having played just 25 minutes of competitive football since breaking his leg in Celtic's Uefa Cup match against Lyon back in October.

The Celtic star needed just under half an hour off the bench in Saturday's friendly against Spain to convince joint-manager Lars Lagerback he will be ready for their first game in Brussels.

Henrik was in inspirational form

Lars Lagerback
"Henrik was in inspirational form in the 25 minutes he played and he is certainly now in the picture for a starting place against Belgium," said Lagerback.

"Now we will see how he looks at the training camp in Holland. We have six days there, and how the players look and perform will determine our first eleven."
