Alfonzo Perez Munoz
The much travelled Perez spent five years with Real Madrid before moving to Real Betis in 1995. After spending just one season in Seville he moved back to the Bernabeu stadium but stayed for just four weeks before going back to Betis. This composed player on the ball is also strong in the air but his attributes still couldn't prevent Real Betis' relegation this season from the Primera Liga, although personally he has been in fine form. Alfonzo has struggled to fully establish himself as a regular in the Spanish first team. He played in Euro 96 and France 98 and has always scored consistently for his country, including a hat-trick against the Faroe Islands in 1996. A stunning goal against the Italians in a friendly in March has pushed him into the reckoning.
