Jorge Costa
Nicknamed 'The Tank', Jorge Costa is a tough centre-half whose style is perhaps more suited to the English game than the Portuguese.
His strength, aggression and aerial dominance add muscle to an otherwise lightweight rearguard and he is the perfect foil for the more technically gifted Fernando Couto, who he plays alongside for his country.
Costa has won the Portuguese Championship six times with FC Porto and was a member of the 1991 Portuguese team that won the World Youth Championship.
