Apart from a loan spell with Padova Calcio in 1991 Albertini has spent his whole career with AC Milan, where he has picked up five League championship medals and won the European Cup in 1994.

There are rumours his form may have dipped some what but despite his vast experience, he is still only 28 and should help Italy this summer with his composure and passing abilities.

Was part of the national team whe they lost on penalties to Brazil in the 1994 World Cup final.
