Ciro Ferrara

Ciro Ferrara
Previously a regular fixture in central defence, Ciro Ferrara remains a class act despite his advancing years.

He lost his place in the Italy line-up when he broke his leg before France 98, but his experience and all-round ability make him an ideal man to have as back-up.

Ferrara's club career began alongside Maradona at Napoli where he won two league titles, and not content with that he has since picked up three more at Juventus.

His international debut came in 1987 against Argentina and he is now closing in on a half century of caps.
