Italian giants eyeing Vieira
![]() Vieira and Bergkamp: will they still be team-mates next season?
Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly lining up a £15 million deal to take Arsenal's Patrick Vieira to Turin.
The News of the World newspaper reports that officials from the Italian club will travel to London this week to table their bid and that they are confident that the French ace wants to move. Vieira cost Arsenal £4 million when he signed from AC Milan in 1996 and he has been instrumental in the North London club's success under Arsene Wenger. A source reportedly close to Juventus claimed: "The deal is virtually done. "Vieira has made it clear he fancies a move to Italy and now all that needs to be completed is agreement on the fee with Arsenal." The current Juventus side includes Vieira's French international team-mate Zinedine Zidane while reports in Italy have linked another young Frenchman, David Trezeguet with a move to Turin.
