Friendly advice for Neville

Scottish midfielder Grant Brebner believes his best friend Phil Neville can make the most England's early Euro 2000 exit by enjoying an all-expenses-paid honeymoon in Scotland.
Neville, who gave away the late penalty which condemned England to defeat against Romania, is due to depart for his honeymoon. And Hibernian midfielder Brebner, Neville's best man at his wedding, clearly believes laughter is the best medicine for his friend as he advises the Manchester United star to cash in on the situation. "Phil is now going on honeymoon with his wife Julie and I told him he should have it in Scotland because everything would have been on the house," Brebner told the Daily Record.
"To be fair to Phil, he laughed, although I am well aware of just how bad he has been feeling about the situation." Brebner played alongside Neville in the Manchester United youth and reserve teams before leaving Old Trafford to join Reading and then Hibs, and knows the defender better than most. "Since the Romania game, he has had a lot of stick from the England fans. It has not been easy and I feel sorry for him." Brebner added: "One thing he has never lacked is character. He will bounce back from this - that's the type of guy he is."
