Unsurprisingly manager Jozef Chovanec gradually lost patience and Lokvenc found himself substituted no less than six times in the first seven games.
By that stage Jan Koller had emerged as the main man up front and Lokvenc saw only 41 minutes of action in the final three games.
Looks awkward but has a surprisingly subtle touch for his size - but his lack of goals suggests that he will have to settle for a place on the bench at best.
