Emile Lokonda Mpenza
The Zaire-born brothers started their careers at KV Kortrijk before flourishing at Mouscron under former national coach Georges Leekens, gaining a reputation for speed, invention, and lethal strikes on goal. Emile then had a successful stint at Standard Liege, where he scored 16 goals in 26 appearances, followed by a move to the Bundesliga with Schalke 04. His international debut was a forgettable 3-0 defeat to Northern Ireland in Belfast three years ago as a substitute. He did, though, become the second youngest player to turn out for the country. Not yet out of his teens, he appeared twice during France 98, and has scored seven goals in 23 international appearances.
