Marc Wilmots
After spells with Jordoigne and St Truiden, he made his name by helping Mechelen to the Belgian League title in 1989. Wilmots moved on to Standard Liege, winning the Belgian Cup with them in 1993, before heading for Bundesliga side Schalke 04 in 1996. Within a year he was a Cup hero once again when he scored four goals on the way to the Uefa Cup final against Inter Milan, including an extra-time winner in the semi-final against Tenerife. He went on to score a long-range effort in the first leg of the final, and slotted home the decisive penalty in the return leg shoot-out at the San Siro to win the trophy. Wilmots has scored 16 goals in 45 appearances for his country.
