Six episodes of Tony Hancock's iconic TV series will soon be enjoyed for the first time since they were broadcast in 1959.

Like many other live TV shows from the time, copies were not made or were subsequently wiped.

But thanks to a viewer who taped the sound from the TV, six episodes from the fourth series will soon be on sale.

Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, who wrote the show, spoke to Eddie Mair on Radio 4's PM about the discovery of the missing episodes.
