The Beatles' album Revolver has been voted the greatest record of all time in a massive survey of musical tastes.

Music from the 1960s and 70s dominate the top 100 but contemporary bands such as Radiohead and U2 and 80s bands like The Smiths have established their musical credentials in the hall of fame.
