Posh performs a flashdance
Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham danced energetically to her new song
Spice Girl Victoria Beckham wowed a 60,000-strong crowd with a dance routine ill-suited to her revealing catsuit on Sunday.

Beckham was singing her forthcoming solo single Out Of Your Mind when the revealing top she was wearing revealed slightly more than planned.

The risqué outfit, a burgundy leather catsuit with slashes across the front, was put through its paces at a live Radio 1 show in Middlesbrough's Stewart Park.

Beckham performed the song with former Another Level singer Dane Bowers, and the True Steppers at the One Big Sunday event.

A spokesman for Radio 1 said: "Her performance was very energetic and allowed people to see one or two things they perhaps shouldn't have.

"David Beckham was on the guest list but couldn't make it, which was perhaps just as well."

Flattered

The last of the Spice Girls to launch her solo career, Posh Spice unveiled her new song at the Party in the Park in London's Hyde Park last month.

Explaining her collaboration with Dane Bowers, she said she loved dance music and was "flattered" to be asked to sing on the track.

Other acts on the bill at Middlesbrough included Billie Piper, Precious, Nu Generation, My Vitriol and MJ Cole.

Radio 1 DJs Jamie Theakston, Chris Moyles and Emma B compered the event.

"The One Big Sunday events have replaced the traditional summer roadshows we used to have," said the Radio 1 spokesman.

"They have proved even more popular and the crowd at Middlesbrough had a brilliant time."
