As the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world is published, winning chefs and judging critics enjoy a post awards lunch at Bar Boulud in the Mandarin Oriental, London. But what do they make of each others' opinions on food?
Critics Mitchell Davis, who has a PhD in restaurant reviewing, and Jay Rayner, the chair of the list's British judging panel, take on chefs Heston Blumenthal, whose restaurant The Fat Duck came in third, and Luke Dale-Roberts, from La Colombe which ranked twelve. Heston also won the Chef's Chef award.
