TV newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky has given birth to a baby girl, her publicist has said.

The Five presenter already has a 17-month-old boy called Arlo with husband, investment banker Justin Bower.

The 37-year-old was said to be "delighted" with her new baby whose name has not been revealed yet.

In February, Kaplinsky and fellow pregnant celebrity, Denise Van Outen took part in a one-mile walk for the charity Sports Relief.

Kaplinsky began her career presenting local news programmes for ITV in the south of England and London, before moving to Sky News and the BBC.

She announced she was pregnant with her first child six weeks after moving to Five from the BBC in 2008, after signing a deal reported to be worth £1m at the time.
