Dallerup had been struggling with the lack of food and sleep

Ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup has quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after telling viewers: "My body can't take it." The 35-year-old said her health could be at risk if she stayed in the jungle camp any longer. "I don't have any reserve. I was so weak I could hardly walk down to the river and back," she said on the show. Dallerup's replacement, former boxing champion Joe Bugner, admitted having "butterflies" about his appearance. "I've never slept under a jungle canopy and I'm worried about all the creepy crawlies and things so I'm not going in as a happy man," said the 59-year-old before he entered the camp. Melon skin Dallerup, who said she had the highest metabolism of any of the contestants, complained camp conditions were making her feel weak and unable to take part in daily tasks. "I just felt the worst I've ever felt," she said.

The dancer told GMTV on Thursday morning that contestants were so hungry they were considering eating the skin of a melon. Before Dallerup's exit, Martin Benson, the show's series producer, admitted that he was worried about her but said he had tried to persuade her to stay. He had said that it was "too early" for a contestant to quit the programme after just a few days.
