A new film showing the fallout from a media scandal over footage allegedly showing soldiers beating Iraqi civilians in 2004, is due to be shown in the subject's home town.

Corporal Martin Webster from Cornwall was arrested by the military police over the incident, but charges against him were dropped and he resigned from the army.

The documentary, "Diary of a Disgraced Soldier", reveals his life under the spectre of that video and is due to be shown at the Cornwall Film Festival.

Louise Walter reports.
