A war film with a difference

The director of a new film called the Messenger is hoping to defy the box office curse on movies about the Iraq war.

There are no battle scenes or flashbacks to the frontline. Instead it focuses on a soldier's return home and the traumas he must face.

Talking Movies' Tom Brook has been to meet the stars of The Messenger to find out more.
