Van Outen and Mead expecting baby

Denise Van Outen and husband Lee Mead are expecting their first child.

A spokesman for the 35-year-old actress said she was 14 weeks pregnant and that the couple were "absolutely delighted".

The pair, who met on BBC One talent show Any Dream Will Do, married in a private ceremony with 17 guests in the Seychelles in April.

Mead, 28, was competing on the show while Van Outen was a judge. Mead went on to win the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Earlier this year, Mead said the couple had moved to "a country pile in Kent, complete with sheep".

"I'd love to have children and hope we can start a family," he added.
