BBC cuts senior management pay

The BBC is to cut the pay bill for its senior managers by a quarter, over the next three-and-a-half years.

It is also cutting nearly one in five top posts - and continuing a pay freeze. The cuts follow criticism of the sums paid to the BBC's executive managers.
