Campbell sued over fragrance deal

Naomi Campbell
Moodform Mission claims the model has ignored communications from them

Model Naomi Campbell is being sued by a US fragrance marketing company for breach of contract.

Moodform Mission claims the model kept millions of dollars in profits that she owed the company for perfumes it helped her to develop.

The fragrances Campbell created with the company include Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir.

A spokesperson for Ms Campbell said the model "categorically denies the allegations made by Moodform Mission".

In legal papers filed in New York, the company said Ms Campbell had "made millions of dollars from the sale of fragrances and cosmetics products conceptualised, created, developed and marketed" with its assistance.

It said Ms Campbell sent regular payments to the company - as was required by a contract signed in 1998 - between 2001 and 2008.

But the company claims those payments abruptly stopped and that the model had ignored communications since then.

Moodform Media is seeking an unspecified amount of damages.
