A programme charting singer Peter Andre's life after his split with wife Katie Price is to be screened later this month, ITV has announced.

Going It Alone will follow his "highs and lows from recent weeks" as he settles into his new home.

The one-off documentary, to be shown on ITV2 on 17 August, will also document the launch of his new single and album.

ITV, which was behind Price and Andre's reality show, said it would offer "exclusive access" to the star.

Television festival

The programme also follows 36-year-old Andre to the Bollywood film awards in Macau, where he unveiled his new musical material live for the first time.

The couple, who were married for three and a half years and had two children together, were the stars of a number of ITV2 reality shows about their lives.

The most recent outing was about their stay in the US.

Price recently appeared on ITV1 talking about her separation from Andre in an interview with Piers Morgan.

Later this month, Andre will appear at the Edinburgh International Television Festival to speak about the making of ITV2 show Katie and Peter: Stateside.

He is expected to give in an insight into how the franchise will progress now the couple have split up, and the impact of being filmed around the clock.
