Daniel Radcliffe continues to play the film's titular hero
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, the sixth movie in the boy wizard series, remains top of the UK and Ireland box office for a second week.
So far the film has taken a total of £33m and kept Sandra Bullock's new movie The Proposal from the top slot.
Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs was at number three with Bruno fourth.
US comedy The Hangover rounded off the top five. The only other new film in the top 10 this week was Lars Von Trier's film Antichrist in tenth place.
Tranformers: Revenge Of The Fallen was at number six, Public Enemies was eighth and tearjerker My Sister's Keeper was at nine.
The movie has become the biggest UK box office success of the year so far.
Josh Berger, managing director of Warner Bros, said the film's success had been "nothing short of astonishing".
He added that the Harry Potter series is a "uniquely British franchise".
