This week we're taking a look at club scenes - and today it's Nu Disco.
Disco has been around since the early 1970s, but recently there has been a huge resurgence of interest in the genre and sub-genres including Nu, Cosmic, Italo and Psychedelic disco.
Club night Horse Meat Disco is a key part of the revival; from their weekly event in a south London pub, they've scored a residency at superclub Fabric and made appearances at the Glastonbury and Lovebox festivals.
Promoter / DJs Jim and James wanted an alternative night harking back to New York parties like The Loft and The Gallery - but adapted for a futuristic UK crowd.
According to their website, "musically it's a disco behemoth of classic, italo disco, oddities, punk funk".
We went to The Eagle in Vauxhall, London.
Produced by Sara Barman
