Trio quizzed over Posh luggage theft
Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham had four suitcases of designer luggage stolen
Three men quizzed in connection with the theft of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham's luggage from Heathrow Airport in London have been released on bail.

Scotland Yard said a report was being sent to the Crown Prosecution Service for them to consider.

One of the men arrested during dawn swoops on two addresses was a British Airways baggage handler.

The Spice Girl's four matching Louis Vuitton designer suitcases - each worth 700 - disappeared on a flight back from Miami in April.

They were stolen when she and husband David Beckham changed to a Manchester flight, expecting their luggage to follow them.

The pair had been celebrating Victoria's 26th birthday in America.

Scotland Yard confirmed they had arrested three men after raiding homes around Stanwell, near the airport.

A few items of designer clothing, believed to belong to Victoria, have also been recovered.

Warrant

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers executed a search warrant issued under the Theft Act at two addresses in the Stanwell area.

"A small quantity of clothing was recovered at one of the addresses and has been identified as coming from the stolen luggage.

"Three men were arrested - one at the address where the clothing was found and two others when they attended Heathrow police station."

Two of the men are believed to be in their 40s, with the third aged 19.

All three were released from Heathrow police station on bail and were due to reappear at the station in two months, pending further inquiries.

British Airways earlier agreed to pay compensation to Victoria, believed to be in the region of 100,000.

The singer has recently recorded a track with Dane Bowers - formerly of the group Another Level - and garage act True Steppers.

Called Out Of Your Mind, it is released in the UK on 14 August.
