Morgan: Boyle 'felt drained'

Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan says Susan Boyle was feeling "physically and mentally drained" prior to her admission to The Priory clinic.

In a phone call to Morgan on Sunday, Boyle had admitted that she had not been sleeping or eating properly, which Morgan attributed to negative press coverage and the pressure in the build up to Saturday's final.

But Morgan insisted that the programme's producers supported all the contestants, and that they "couldn't have done any more for her".
