The 'Pope of Mope' turns 50

The singer Morrissey has turned 50. After coming to fame in 1983 with his band The Smiths, his forthright take on life led to him being hailed by many as being one of the most influential figures in the history of British pop.

He now lives in Los Angeles and is a successful solo artist. We take a look back at some favourite "Morrissey moments".
