Actor ousted from Hell's Kitchen

Shameless star Jody Latham has become the first celebrity to be kicked out of ITV reality show Hell's Kitchen.

The actor was sacked by head chef Marco Pierre White after arguing with fellow contestants including Anthea Turner and her husband Grant Bovey.

He later vaulted the fence in the staff quarters after White said he recognised himself in the screen star.

Latham initially failed to appear for his exit interview, but said it had "all been a positive experience".

'Silly cow'

"I've got no regrets at all," he added in his brief appearance with host Claudia Winkleman.

"I got from it what I needed. I'm not upset at all."

The 27-year-old had clashed with other contestants, calling former Blue Peter host Turner "a silly cow".

On his return to the kitchen after he had jumped over the fence, White delivered the news that he was sacking him, after other competitors made it clear they had yet to forgive him for his behaviour.

Of the remaining contestants, comic and actor Adrian Edmondson is the bookmakers' favourite to win the show, followed by former football star Bruce Grobbelaar.

Bovey and Turner are considered the least likely to survive to the final edition.
