Fawcett reassured fans a few days ago that she was "not at death's door"

US actress Farrah Fawcett has been discharged from hospital following treatment for abdominal bleeding, according to reports.
Fawcett's doctor, Lawrence Piro, told People magazine she was "in great spirits" and had left with companion Ryan O'Neal.
The bleeding was the result of treatment she had received in Germany for anal cancer.
Dr Piro added that the actress was looking forward to being back at home.
"She's walking and in great spirits and looking forward to celebrating Easter at home.
"Her home has been stocked with her favourite teas and food and she's looking forward to enjoying them."
The bleeding that led to the actress being admitted to hospital was caused by a bleeding in a muscle that had led to a hematoma.
Dr Piro added that the pain this had caused had eased tremendously.
Earlier in the week, the actress had felt compelled to issue a statement to reassure fans that she was "not at death's door".
She made the move in response to a number of media reports which claimed the actress was unconscious and her family had gathered at her bedside.
Diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006, Fawcett declared herself cancer-free four months later, only to have the disease return in May 2007.
She shared her experiences of battling the disease in footage she released to the media in 2008.
Her big TV break came in 1976 when producer Aaron Spelling cast her in Charlie's Angels as one of the crime-fighting heroines.
Separately, a Los Angeles judge has ordered the 24-year-old son of Fawcett and O'Neal to be held without bail for breaking the terms of his probation for a previous drug conviction.
Redmond O'Neal appeared in court and admitted the charge. His bail was cancelled and a sentencing hearing was scheduled for next week.
Redmond O'Neal was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of bringing drugs into a jail and was being held on $25,000 (£17,000) bail.
He was previously arrested in September and charged with possession of methamphetamine while on probation for a previous drug conviction.
