Eminem breaks US download record

Eminem's long-awaited comeback single has broken a download record and topped the US Billboard singles chart.

Crack A Bottle, which also features Dr Dre, has sold more than 418,000 online copies, the most ever in a first week of release.

The previous best was Live Your Life by rapper TI, which shifted 335,000 downloads last October.

The new single comes ahead of Relapse, the first new album from Eminem since 2004's Encore.

Crack A Bottle now becomes the third best selling download single. It sits behind Lady GaGa's Just Dance on 419,000 and Flo Rida's Low on 467,000.
