Killers join Benicassim line-up

Las Vegas rockers The Killers are the latest headliners to join this summer's Benicassim festival in Spain.

Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand and Oasis will also be among the bands making the trip to the Spanish east coast from 16 July.

Up to 150,000 fans are expected to attend the event, which usually boasts fine weather for the four-day duration.

Paul Weller will also be performing, joining Kings of Leon on the Friday night bill.

Benicassim attracts a large UK and Irish contingent - who form up to one-third of the festival's audience.

However, fans travelling from the UK will find the event more expensive this year because of the weak pound.

Last year saw Sigur Ros and The Raconteurs headline the festival.
